Getting It Right
Naming a business is honestly one of the hardest things you can do. When you look at brands such as Apple, Amazon and Google, you wonder how they got it so right the first try.
Our goal was to have a name with meaning, be catchy and long-lasting and we thought it would be entertaining and fun to share with you how BluJaket came to be our name.
The first step towards discovering our name, was what we called a special offer when it was delivered to our users. As we built out the concept to our service, we naturally began to call this a "Sting".
Once the software and mobile app came to fruition, we began to focus on our Brand and our only piece of branding was, "You've been stung. So playing on those words we started with things that sting, and shampoo in the eyes just wasn't really working for us. So we started with a Bee, then moved on to making our Bee Unique.
How many of you have seen a yellow bee? Now how many of you have seen a Blue colored bee? Precisely. Blue bees are much more rare than your typical yellow bee, that makes the extremely unique; like BluJaket. As a one of a kind software that provides a unique service never seen before, we needed a name that fit the bill.
Blue is the color of inclusiveness. We have designed our app to work for everyone, everywhere at any time. We are not limited by business type, or geographical region or wireless provider.
Larger Than Life
When asked what is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the color blue, many people would say the ocean or the sky. Our goal is to one day be known worldwide as the preferred coupon delivery app for everything under the sky.
